The following list describes, in general, the contents of the libraries in the Christianity Area of the Religion and Ethics forum.  Where some files do not fit into any category very clearly, they are released into the libraries that have the most similar content or concerns.  Please use this as a guide when you are looking for specific material OR when you are trying to decide where to upload your files.    ** Please note - the attached file has the same information as this description.  To save or print this description, use either of those commands under your File menu above.

  3. Applications: software for pc's and macs for individuals and churches

  5. Apologetics/Doctrine Library: files that have to do with the defense of Christian belief in general and/or explanations of the doctrines of particular denominations in particular.

  7. Bible Study Programs: programs (applications) for macs and pc's 
  8.  
  9. Catholic Files Library:  Catholic apologetics; prayers; papal encyclicals; other writings by, about, and for Catholics
  10.  
  11. Doctrinal Controversies Library: challenges to or disputes with the claims or beliefs of particular denominations/church bodies
  12.  
  13. Early Church History: documents of the Church up through 1500; the 37 volume (file) set of the Early Church Fathers
  14.  
  15. Electronic Publications: electronic (ONLY) magazines, articles 
  16.  
  17. Executable Outlines: Bible study and homily outlines by Mark Copeland
  18.  
  19. Exegesis I and II Libraries: those files which attempt to explain particular Biblical passages; files which compare Bible translations.
  20.  
  21. Evangelization/Testimony Library: information on how to evangelize, personal stories of experience with Jesus, contemporary inspirational writings, exhortation, some teaching strategies.

  23. Homiletics Library: lectionary materials, sermons/homilies, information on preaching
  24.  
  25. McStudy Library: a week-by-week study series
  26.  
  27. Misc. Library: prayer and prayers, beginning/end times material, prophecy, miscellaneous history and historical documents

  29. Online Bible Program: the Online Bible Program by Ken Hamel
  30.  
  31. Newsletter/Publications Library: newsletters, text (ONLY) copies of magazines, Marian messages, notices of study groups, generally distributed intercessory prayer lists, information/excerpts on books and tapes available
  32.  
  33. Recommended Utilities: utilities which help process files/information such as text wrappers, dos <->mac conversion utilities, sound converters, file splitters, and even an AOL spell-checker for pc's
  34.  
  35. Social Concerns Library: material on abortion, family and other relationships,  politics, homosexuality, holidays
